7 Moons Away

7 Moons away, a mixed media artwork: graphite, silver leaf *, acrylic, plaster on canvas, measures 20″x 24″. The artwork features symbolic elements: a skylark in flight, ladder, inverted tree, a silver square and 7 circles, brought together on a plaster textured surface in a wabi-sabi style, telling the story of spiritual ascension or desire for spiritual ascension, aiming 7 moons high and being able of finding a transcending door (*the silver leaf square atop of the ladder) easier than expected. The inverted tree speaks of a tree with the roots in a higher dimension.
